Tell me it's not a phase!

For weeks now my oldest, big E, has been telling me he loves me. Out of no where. I'll be fixing dinner, doing laundry, sitting at the 'puter, or just doing something random and he'll walk right up to me and say..."I love you, Mom." Just like that. A statement of how he feels about his mom. I feel like it's been Mother's Day for 2 months already =) I just hope it's not a phase. Of all the things that come with raising kids most everything is said to be 'a phase'. This is something I want to stick around FOREVER! I just need someone to tell me it will.

  1. Bill STILL walks around telling his mom (and dad) "I love you" for no reason

our kids are following in his footsteps

I have to believe its NOT a phase! =)

  2. Ya know Chloe will randomly say that. I realized it's bc I randomly say it to her. I think if you keep randomly saying it he will also. Very sweet.
